Quickie: Havermale Park

They have been working on this project for what seems like forever! When the project was first announced there was lots of momentum and buzz. Now when movement is announced on the Havermale project, I know there is no real hurry to get things going.

But I do home they offer the top floors as purchasable condos. It is really hard to find condos downtown that aren't rentals.

Quickie on the new mixed-used block called Havermale Park:

"A coffee house, an English pub, an interior design store and a personal trainer are among the new tenants preparing to move into Havermale Park, a mixed-use development slowly filling up on the east side of downtown Spokane.

Several new leases were announced this week in the development that includes seven historic buildings stretching west from Browne Street between Sprague and Riverside avenues. Work is also continuing on transforming the upper floors of several of the buildings into apartments and office space.

The National Building, on the southwest corner of Browne and Riverside, should have two new tenants this summer. A coffee and wine bar called Havermale House is scheduled to open, as is a pub called Lion's Lair. Directly on the northwest corner of Browne and Sprague, Gina Cook is preparing to open Gina's Design Corner, an upscale interior design center offering hardwood flooring, wool carpets, granite countertops and other products."
