As I began to look into the local Spokane music scene I was surprised to see a healthy number of 100+ local artists. I also found a closely knit online community promoting those artists. Below are a few links to get you emersed in the spokurban music scene.
[] " not only covers the Spokane area, but the entire Inland Northwest. Come on in and check out the other Northwest music scene. The source for local music, events, and much more."

[7: Music] "Here's our catalog of mp3s from local bands. The artists have given us permission to post the songs, so download away. If you like what you hear, support the bands by getting out to see a show or buying a CD. If you're a local musician and you'd like to see your songs here, let us know. "

[] "Music resource for the entire Inland Northwest...and beyond. Includes forums, photos, links, downloads, and articles."

[] "Sacklunch recording studio has been a quality part of the Spokane recording community since 1993 recording Spokane's best bands for over 10 years."

[] "College Road Records is a regional independent record label serving the Inland Northwest. Our affiliation with College Road Recording allows us to produce our bands with low overhead but exceptional quality."

[] "Syncopated Domain has been bringing the music of local artists into the homes of Spokane cable viewers every week since 1994 and is now Spokane's longest running local cable music program. Each program serves up a half-hour informal jam session with some of the Spokane area's finest musicians. Watch Syncopated Domain every Wednesday at 7:30pm on AT&T Cable Channel 14."
