Does The Lion's Lair Make A Roar?

What a great place! The owners and bartender are very friendly, the drinks are terrific (albeit sometimes expensive) and the beer is cold. Most importantly, it's as clean as an operating room, including the bathrooms. Great music playing ... they need taller barstools, though. Even pinball games!

The Havermale Park block is slowly filling in with new businesses and hopefully some new downtown housing options soon. I have not had a chance to check out the Lair but encourage anyone who has gone to leave a few comments about what they thought about it.
[Excerpt From Spokane 7] "Lion’s Lair opened in early November to provide a traditional, small-capacity lounge atmosphere on the east side of downtown. It’s a two-level joint with music from various chilled-out genres floating down from the house speakers.

Along with martinis, cocktails and vino, check out the four taps, including the Fireweed Honey Blonde from Rocky Coulee Brewing in Odessa.

McLeod and Finnegan plan to hold events such as concerts, car shows, improv theater and stand-up comedy once the Lair gets roaring."
