Hey, glad you like the podcast. Have you gotten a chance to listen to any episodes so far? Would love to hear your feedback.

One note: The local portion of the podcast (semi-quietly) launched about a month ago. This past Wednesday was our fifth show at Rock Coffee.

We waited a bit to blow things out in a story so we could have some episodes already produced, then tie into the regional showcase part of the series, where we'll be involved in actually getting bands from elsewhere to come here.

I took a listened and actually subscribed to the feed. I think it is great. Gives people a way to get to know these different bands on a more personal, relatable level, especially if you haven't heard the music before. I am working my way backwards through the episodes and I like what I hear. Glad Spokane has people producing some quality podcasts like this. It is a great outlet to take advantage of.

This is awesome. I normally only subscribe to a few podcasts, mainly like diggnation or tiki bar, but it's nice to have something in spokane. I was starting to think this town was a bit too dead. Awesome story by the way. I would not jave learned of this podcast if it wasn't for this blogg you have.

if you have time check mine out, I'm just beggining though I am at http://video567.blogspot.com/

Thanks bored@home for the kind comments. I am glad you switched to blogger, it is a great service. Glad I can provide a resource to get the good news about Spokane out there too, that was the whole drive for starting this blog.

Well it looks like Spokane finally has a podcast to be proud of showcasing. What is a podcast you say? It is simply audio or video files sent over the internet through feeds for the public to enjoy. Most podcasts are free.

The weekly Spokane 7 has teamed up with Rock Coffee and has launched a podcast featuring the local Spokane music scene. They will be doing weekly podcasts with live interviews and concerts. They are calling it the P.A. System (short for podcast Audio).

If anyone knows of any other great Spokane podcasts let me know. I think it is a great way for people to be heard.
