Looking for some fresh bok choy? Maybe some leeks and beats are more your style? If you want fresh veggies look no further then the Downtown Farmers' Market starting its 8th season in Mid-May. Support your local farmers and find a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers. Be sure to check out the Spokurban Forums for discussions on a permanent Farmers' Market. Also, take a look at a local chef making use of some of the goods found at the Farmer's Market.
[Spokane Farmers' Market] "The Spokane Farmers' Market Association is a group of more than 35 farmers in the Spokane area. We join together to operate an independent and self-managed farmers' market in downtown Spokane.

The Association will be open for it's 8th season beginning in May 2006. Market days are Saturdays, beginning in mid May, and Wednesdays, beginning in June, on 2nd Avenue in downtown Spokane.

Our members bring organic produce, baked goods, and products to the market for sale.

The Association is a non-profit corporation and a member of the Washington State Farmers' Market Association.
