If you picked up the Inlander this week you may have come across the article regarding Rock Coffee and the Big Easy. It seems Rock Coffee is being squeezed out of the music scene (at least at it's current location) by the owners of the building and the Big Easy, Bravo Entertainment.

I highly encourage you to write to Bravo Entertainment voicing your opinion on the subject. We need medium sized venues to keep the music scene healthy, and treating them like this keeps Spokane from developing into a steady arts hub.

I wrote them asking that they think twice about the bigger picture when going after other entertainment venues, it is a synergy that creates a vibrant downtown, not one entity.
