I am sorry I have not posted in a month. (I can't believe it has already been that long.) I have been getting my bearings as school has started. Before jumping into the downtown news I have to say the graphic design program at Spokane Falls has been an exhilirating experience. It is great to finally start doing someting I love.

So let's get to it. Downtown news of course keeps on coming. First off I would like to thank the people at the Downtown Spokane Partnership for adding me to their website links list under the category of "Interesting Links on Downtown Spokane". I appreciate being linked to another group so focused on downtown.

As reported in the Spokurban forums the Davenport Tower has now topped out at 21 floors. The work now begins on the interior and should be down in time for guests to enjoy for the 2007 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

A new chocolate shop will be openign soon next door to the just opened Saunder's Cheese Market. Now you can get your cheese, chocolate, and wine in one downtown block.

The first mixed-use building will be hitting the U-District with The Edge a four-story, 30,000-square-foot building that will have 19 urban-industrial style condominiums with ground-floor retail.

P.F. Changs has opened as well as the rest of the block at Main and Post in the new West 809 Building. What a difference a block makes.

Well that is the big news for now. I will try and get some new photos of the current remodels, renovations, and building going on all over downtown. Also feel free to add any news you may find into the Spokurban forums. Thanks for everyones support of
