Now It's Time To Say Goodbye...
Well here I am again pondering the future of Spokurban and I have to say it doesn't look good. School and work have kept me beyond busy and I haven't been able to give Spokurban the time it deserves. [Take a minute and grab some tissue.]
I think the site has accomplished more then I ever set out to do. I have met some great people, learned so much about design, and was able to be a resource to so many about what downtown Spokane really has to offer.
I will not be taking the site down because I think it still offers a lot of great links to other bloggers and websites that represent downtown. But I will not be making any more posts.
Let's all take a collective sigh.
That doesn't mean I am done with the world wide web. Far from it. I believe things like YouTube, MySpace, De.licio.us, podcasts, and blogs in general are the future of the web. It is about feeling connected to a community, bigger than any one person. And I still want to be a part of that.
I feel this can somehow be accomplished with regards to Downtown Spokane. A strength in numbers sort of deal. So if anyone out there would like to brainstorm some ideas for a community web experience on Downtown Spokane I am all for it, just e-mail me.
Until then please visit some of these great local blogs. Remi1000. Taste Everything Once (TEO). Spokane 7. Metro Spokane. You can get a complete list in the links area to the right of this post.
Thanks again to everyone who has supported Spokurban. You have made me feel very welcome in the blogosphere.

Sometimes it's tough when life gets busy. I try to just chip away a little at a time with my projects. I'd like to see more sites dedicated to the spokane music scene. There are a lot of great spokane bands, and that play in downtown spokane.
I just launched a site to help promote Spokane Music. Check us out and find some great new music, and bands to see.
